1. New Courses

1.1. Intro to VR with Unity

Suitable for years 9 to 12, this project-based course covers the basics of virtual reality with Unity.

Mapped to the Australian Curriculum in Digital Technologies, Intro to VR with Unity shows students how to use Unity’s XR Interaction Toolkit to build an interactive kitchen scene.


2. Classroom Activities

We’ve added new classroom activities for years 3 to 5!

Found on the Australian Curriculum Mapping page, these additional elaborations provide examples and activities on how data and technology work in the real world, including:

  • How technology meets personal, school, and community needs
  • Sustainability
  • Data privacy and security
  • Data encryption
  • Online safety

3. New Features

Our newest platform features have been designed to save you time, and make managing your classes and students even easier.

3.1. Professional Development Page

Using Zenva’s courses to increase your own programming skills? Check out the new Professional Development page!

You can view courses that you’ve started and completed, and track your progress – access it from Courses > My PD.

3.2. Student Passwords

Based on teacher feedback, we’ve reduced the student password requirements to 4 characters to make it easier for you to manage.

You can now also import student passwords using Excel or Google Sheets.
