1. New Courses
1.1. Python Turtle
In our brand new Python Turtle course, students will easily learn the very basics of coding by using simple commands to draw and color pictures, along with:
- Designing and implementing algorithms
- Translating real-world requirements into algorithms
- Creating a mini-project in Python
- Project management in digital solutions
Suitable for grades 7 and up, it has been mapped to both US and Australian curricula and standards*, with more underway.
*Current standards and curricula mapping for this course include:
- CSTA Computer Science Standards
- K-12 Computer Science Framework
- Common Core
- Australian Curriculum in Digital Technologies.
1.2. Intro to Godot Games
We’re excited to announce that Intro to Game Development with Godot is now available on Zenva Schools!
One of the most popular courses on our sister platform Zenva Academy, it focuses on game development basics with Godot – the free game creation library that uses a Python-like script to make 2D and 3D games.
Suitable for years 9 and up and mapped to the Australian Curriculum in Digital Technologies (with more standards and curricula coming soon), it will teach students core game development skills as they build their own platformer project.
2. New Features
Our newest platform features have been designed to save you time, and make managing your classes and students even easier.
2.1. Completion Certificates
Upon completing a course, Completion Certificates are now automatically emailed to the learner!
Certificates can also be downloaded directly from their corresponding course pages, as per the screenshot below.

2.2. Importing Students
Now, when you create or import Students (either individually, or in batches), you’ll have the option to assign them to one or more classrooms!

2.3. Classroom Creation
Save time by importing students from existing classrooms into any new Classrooms that you create!

2.4. Archived Classrooms
Have a classroom that you no longer use but don’t want to delete just yet? You can now archive them, which will hide them from view on the Classrooms page.
